Several celebrities such as Sara Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan-Saif Ali Khan and others took some time off work and jetted off to celebrate New Year. They have been sharing pictures on their social media and their holiday pictures are all sorts of goals! Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor also welcomed the New Year together, but the lovebirds were not alone. Joining them in their celebrations, was Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji. However, looks like their New Year getaway has come to an end and they are headed back home.
Alia Bhatt had been sharing pictures from their trip to an undisclosed location on her Instagram stories. During her trip, the actress binged on some delicious fruits and shared pictures of the same. She had also shared a picture of her BFF Ayan Mukerji sitting on a beach, and wrote, “My sunshine is here.” Now, it looks like Alia is headed home and before her vacation comes to an end, she shared an adorable selfie of herself, with Ranbir and Ayan. Alia Bhatt also took to her Instagram stories, and shared a glimpse of the scenic beauty. One last story of hers revealed that she is headed back home. She shared a picture with her luggage and wrote, “Hometime.” While it may have been a short vacation, it sure looks like they had fun!
On the work front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen together in Brahmastra, which is directed by Ayan Mukerji. This is the first time the two will be sharing screen space and fans can’t wait. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
