Deepika's BACK PROBLEM Resurfaces & Irrfan Goes Down With JAUNDICE; Vishal's Film POSTPONED
It's all happening out there in the KriArj-Vishal Bhardwaj flick starring Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. KriArj & Bhardwaj are taking it in their stride
Vishal Bhardwaj has been
compelled to push back his forthcoming co-production with KriArj Entertainment

Pushing back film by a few months, @irrfank down with jaundice and @deepikapadukone with resurfaced back issue caused during Padmaavat. While prepping, was transported to Maqbool days. Stunning look tests, can’t wait to start shoot. Sending pyaar & duaaen to my Ustara and Afshan.

KriArj has responded positively to Vishal's text:

The film's leading lady, Deepika Padukone, had a tough time dancing to Sanjay
Leela Bhansali's tunes in Padmaavat; unfortunately, seems that the the lady is
in pain and discomfort as of now and has been advised to take it a bit slow.
Irrfan Khan, her Piku co-star, who will play the male lead in the film, on the other hand, is down with jaundice and advised adequate rest and diet precautions.
The film in question was originally supposed to be directed by Vishal's assistant Honey Trehan, but later Vishal took over the reins. In a press release issued on Dec 21, 2017, Vishal had said, "Due to different artistic visions of the film, Trehan and I jointly came to the decision that it would be best if I took over as director and saw it through to the end."

In the same note, Honey had said, "Owing to our differences in creative
understanding, we have mutually and amicably decided that it would be best for
our film if Vishal sir took over as director."
The information imparted also contained that 'Trehan will direct another
project in the near future to be produced by VB Pictures and KriArj. Vishal's
film is scheduled to begin shooting from February end'.

Vishal ended the post
reiterating the fact that his Deepikas-Irrfan film is still untitled and not
based on Rahima Khan/Sapna Didi’s life. Earlier, it was being said that the
film has been titled Sapna Didi.
Anyway, now let's wait and watch when exactly the film goes on floors.
