Deepika Padukone, who is the eldest daughter of Ex-badminton player Prakash Padukone, is on cloud nine with happiness as her dad clocks being titled as All England Championship in London’s Wembley Arena 40 years back. The actress got nostalgic over the success journey of her uber-cool dad who represented India in Badminton globally.
Renowned Clayton J Murzello took to his Twitter account and shared a Mid-Day article on Prakash Padukone’s greatest achievement in London. Mr. Clayton backed the article saying, “40 years ago on this day Prakash Padukone won the All England Championship in London’s Wembley Arena. I’m sure @deepikapadukone would love to read this eye witness account by Shirish Nadkarni in @mid_day”

As soon as Mr. Clayton tweeted about Mr. Padukone mentioning Deepika Padukone, she was quick to respond. Chhapaak actress is overwhelmed with joy. She took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Pappa, Your contribution to Badminton and Indian Sport is immeasurable! Thank You for your inspiring display of dedication, discipline, determination and years of hard work! They don’t make you like you anymore... We love you and are proud of you! Thank You for being you!”
