Coronavirus Scare: Anushka Sharma And Virat Kohli Make A Joint Appeal, Ask Fans To Self-Isolate And 'Stay Home' - Watch
As the coronavirus has become a global threat, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have taken to their social media handle to spread awareness while asking their fans to stay safe and stay home due to the spread of COVID-19
The novel Coronavirus or Covid-19 which has been declared a pandemic as it is increasing rapidly across the world, infecting nearly 195 people in India. Four deaths due to Covid-19 have already been reported in India. The situation is getting worse but the government officials are doing every possible thing to keep their citizens safe and healthy. For the same, they have even declared a shut down on various places, due to which people are locking down themselves.
Apart from the commoners, Bollywood celebs like Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Malaika Arora, to name a few, are also not taking any risks and have locked themselves inside their houses. Following the suit, even Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have decided to self-quarantine.

While sharing the video, the Zero actress captioned it as, “Stay Home. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy.” while Virat too reposted the same video and backed it by saying: “The need of the hour is to absolutely respect and follow the government's directive. Stay home. Stay safe. Stay healthy.” Yes, Virushka, we will follow the suit.
Meanwhile, the Indian captain Virat Kohli requested people to be alert, attentive and aware to combat the threat posed by the novel coronavirus on Twitter. Kohli also hailed PM Narendra Modi's address to the nation. He tweeted, “Be alert, attentive and aware to combat the threat posed by the Covid 19. We, as responsible citizens, need to adhere to the norms put in place for our safety as announced by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi ji. #IndiaFightsCorona”.
On the other side, Anushka Sharma recently took up the hand wash challenge to spread awareness among masses.
