Coronavirus Outbreak: Shah Rukh Khan Makes An IMP Appeal, Asks Fans To Avoid Public Places; Supports PM Modi’s Janta Curfew- VIDEO
With the coronavirus pandemic taking over the globe, people across are asked to take all the precautionary measures to avoid the spreading of such a deadly virus. Other than maintaining hygiene, they are also asked to avoid going to public places and commuting via public transport. Since day one, celebrities are making it a point to spread more and more awareness about this national health emergency. Now, jumping onto the bandwagon is superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who took to his social media and made an important appeal.

In the video, the Raees actor requested fans to avoid gathering at public places and using trains and buses, until it’s absolutely urgent. “Namashkar! I appeal to all of you to avoid public places and to avoid commuting by trains and public buses, if not absolutely necessary. The next 10-15 days are extremely, extremely crucial. To fight this crisis, the government and the citizens have to put up a strong joint front. So, I appeal again, please do not panic, please be careful about the information. And please follow the instructions and guidelines, issued by the state government,” said the actor.

Prior to this, Shah Rukh also lauded PM Narendra Modi’s Janta Curfew initiative to battle coronavirus. The actor quote-retweeted Modi’s tweet and asked fans to support. He wrote, “It’s imp 2 reduce social interaction 2 minimum. Self Quarantine. The idea of #JanataCurfew on Sunday is a means to this end & we should continue this concept at a personal level as much as we can & more. We need to ‘slow down time’ to arrest the virus spread. Be safe & healthy all.”
