Bunty Aur Babli 2: Rani Mukerji To Reunite With Hum Tum Co-Star Saif Ali Khan – See First Pic
After 11 years, Hum Tum Jodi Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan to reunite for Bunty Aur Babli 2 along with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari. Here’s the first picture of the duo, making us so nostalgic
A few days ago, it was confirmed that in the sequel of Bunty Aur Babli, Gully Boy actor MC Sher Siddhant Chaturvedi and Bollywood debutant Sharvari will be stepping into the shoes of Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji who were the leads in the first part. However, Babli Rani would also be a part of the film but with a different Bunty and he is none other than Saif Ali Khan. It was reported that Saif has indeed joined the star-cast and will be the male lead this time instead of Abhishek Bachchan and SpotboyE.com exclusively reported that the duo will begin shooting for the film from next week in Benaras and Bulandshahr. Well, as it is confirmed now, here we have got the first picture of the two and it adorable which is making is making us nostalgic in so many levels.
In the first picture, Saif looks uber cool while gorgeous Rani is seeing leaning on him. Talking about the film, Rani said that she has some lovely memories of working with Saif and she is really excited to work with him again while Bade Nawab said that he is really looking forward to their creative collaboration again. While talking to Hindustan Times, Rani was quoted saying “Abhishek and I were both approached to reprise our roles as the originals in Bunty Aur Babli 2 but, unfortunately, things didn’t work out with him and we will miss him dearly.” However, as Saif has come on board, Rani is really looking forward to creating something new and exciting to collaborate with him in Bunty Aur Babli 2. Saif was quoted by the portal saying, “It’s a completely rebooted sequel and is set in today’s time. It is a fantastic script that hooked me instantly. He also says that this is a new role, language and milieu for him and that’s what he is really looking for in a script. Bade Nawab loves the dynamics between the originals and the new Bunty Babli and calls it fresh, hilarious and extremely engaging.
We have seen Rani and Saif in Hum Tum, Ta Ra Rum Pum and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, hence we know for sure that their chemistry in this film will be sizzling.
