Brahmastra: Shah Rukh Khan Joins The Cast Of Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt Starrer; Character To Have A Mythological Touch
Whoa! Shah Rukh Khan to feature in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra along with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan
It’s almost been a year that we haven’t seen Shah Rukh Khan on the big screens after the release of Aanand L Rai’s Zero. Though his fans are pretty eager to see SRK’s charm and magic onscreen, rumour mills started buzzing stating that Shah Rukh will be announcing not one but two movies on his birthday which is November 2. As this itself got us all excited, we have heard another news regarding SRK’s films and our excitement level has shot up the roof. Well, if the latest reports are anything to go by, he will be starring in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Yes, you read that right!
According to the Mumbai Mirror report, Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a cameo in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmashtra along with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. A source told a leading tabloid that SRK will do a guest appearance but has a pivotal role in taking Ranbir’s journey forward. The team is currently shooting in Mumbai’s Filmcity studio. Another short schedule will take place on a set in Mumbai after the outdoors in Manali. However, it is not clear if Shah Rukh will join the gang in Manali or at the city studio, the source was quoted by the tabloid. The source was quoted saying that as the Zero star likes Ayan’s work, he immediately agreed to do the cameo and his character will have a mythological touch. Since Ayan has worked as an assistant on Shah Rukh’s Swades and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, he has admitted that he loves his moves and the biggest admirer. So it would be interesting to watch Ayan directing the superstar, on the other hand, this would be the second time where Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be sharing the screen space with King Khan.
