Ayaan Mukerji’s directorial venture Brahmastra has been in the making since inception now. The team has been roaming around the world, right from Bulgaria, London, Mumbai to Varanasi, Shimla and other cities just to get the perfect shot for the film, but the shooting for the same has always been getting delayed. However, after multiple delays, the film is not reaching its end and fans are overhyped to see the first rushes of Brahmastra. But before we could get to see that, the latest development we heard is that Alia Bhatt will now join the team for the last leg of the film.

As per a report in Mirror, the cast of Brahmastra completed 170 days of shoot and the film is expected to wrap up in another 20 days. Shiva, played by Ranbir Kapoor, and his guru, played by Amitabh Bachchan, are shooting for some pivotal scenes that are rooted in Indian mythology in Mumbai as part of the last leg and as per reports, most of the scenes in the film will be enhanced with visual effects. With them already been shooting, Alia too join them for the final scheduled before completely wrapping up.

Speaking of Big B and Kapoor already shooting, just yesterday, Amitabh Bachchan shared a collage photo on his Instagram feed while also mentioning how he needs four chairs to sit next to the enormous talent. Big B at his best. Speaking of Brahmastra, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles.

The first part of the trilogy will hit the screens on December 4, 2020.
