Brahmastra: Amitabh Bachchan Joins Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt In Manali To Shoot Larger-Than-Life Climax
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra’s shooting is in full swing. A few days back we spotted, Alia and Ranbir at the Mumbai airport where the lovebirds were heading to Manali to shoot their film. A picture of Bhatt wearing a Himachali topi while RK sported a beanie as the locals welcomed them to their resort, it seemed. However, we have learned that megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who plays Ranbir’s guru in the action fantasy adventure, has also joined them yesterday.

According to the Mumbai Mirror report, the couple is going to shoot for a larger-than-life climax with the Big B who is said to be strong support for Ranbir who can emit fire from his palms. A source close to the development was quoted by the portal, saying, “Amitji is in Manali, for the next few days before he moves to another shoot in a foreign location in early December. The film’s antagonists, Mouni Roy and Saurav Gurjar, too, will be a part of this schedule that requires some amount of prep before the camera rolls.”




The report further reports that after the Manali schedule is done the shooting, Ranbir and Alia will head back to Varanasi to shoot for a song. Talking about the cast, we have also reported that Shah Rukh Khan will also be joining the ensemble cast but he will be seen in a small yet impactful role. He has already shot for a cameo in a city studio over an eight-day schedule against a green screen.


Brahmastra also features Nagarjuna who plays an archaeologist, Mouni Roy and Saurav Gurjar who will be playing the antagonist and Dimple Kapadia. We have also reported that Ayan Mukerji’s directorial film’s plot is inspired by Marvel’s Avengers


In the Brahmastra, Shiva (played by Ranbir) will go on a hunt to find the strongest weapon while Mouni and Saurav are too on a hunting spree and in Avengers, they look for infinity stones. The film which was supposed to hit the big screens in December 2019 is now be scheduled to release in Summer 2020.
