Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has been running into
trouble ever since the shooting of the film commenced. Yesterday, Akhil
Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha’s Abhishek Som offered to give Rs 5 crore to anyone
who would behead Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This statement has
annoyed celebs from B-Town. Director Ekta Kapoor and Dia Mirza
took to Twitter to strongly condemn the statement.
Dia Mirza wrote, “The hooligans threatening to hurt
@deepikapadukone should be jailed! The fact that rogues continue to use the
film industry as a soft target to promote their dirty politics is appalling
enough what makes it worse is that they get away with it! Every time!

Ekta Kapoor tweeted, “They threw bottles at me at d lit fest in jaipur(I continued without caring just ducked d bottles;))made me apologise' just to get my film releasd(only did it as d Dist was suffering)n now cutting Deepika's nose!Aren't we getting these hooligans jailed for open threats n attacks! (sic).”

Amidst all this, security has been beefed up at outside Deepika Padukone’s house post the Karni Sena threatened to chop off Deepika Padukone’s nose.
“The Mumbai Police have increased actor Deepika Padukone’s security after the outfit issued the nose chopping threat. We are providing her adequate security after the threat, he said. The police will also provide security at the actor’s residence as well as office in Mumbai said Joint Commissioner of Police Deven Bharti in a statement.
Not very long ago, protests broken out In Mumbai and Surat to condemn the film.
