Anushka Sharma has carved her niche in Bollywood and has been winning hearts for years now. For the past one year, Sharma has not announced any film after her 2018 release Zero. Finally, Good News for Anushka fans as the actress is busy prepping for her next film. After staying away from the silver screen, reportedly, Indian women’s cricket team captain Jhulan Goswami is getting a biopic and Anushka Sharma will be getting into her shoes for the biopic.

According to a report in XtraTime, a website which mainly reports on Football, the actress is set to step into the shoes of India’s fast pace spearhead Jhulan Goswami. Reports state that the former Indian woman cricket team captain has a biopic in the making and Anushka is currently prepping for her role in the film. Sharma is undergoing cricket training for her role and is currently being trained by Indian cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues’ father, Ivan Rodrigues, and Indian cricket coach Prashant Shetty. As Sharma will be playing the role of the all-rounder, a source close to the development shared that the production team couldn’t get anyone who would match Jhulan’s physical characteristics, but found that Anushka fits perfectly for the role of the cricketer.


Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma’s absence has sparked pregnancy rumors around the actress. There have been reports stating the actress chose the family way as she wasn’t signing any film. Anushka Sharma has been in a happy place since long and the actress has been enjoying her break with hubby and Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli. 


The couple often takes long vacations and share post-card worthy pictures on social media. With Anushka playing the role of Jhulan Goswami, we wonder if the actress might undergo training from hubby Virat Kohli as well.
