Amitabh Bachchan Surprises His Makeup Man Of 40 Years, Deepak Sawant With A Sweet Gesture
Amitabh Bachchan recently visited the salon of his makeup artist Deepak Sawant as it completed 40 years. Deepak has been Big B's makeup artist for the past four decades and it was indeed kind of Big B to be a part of the celebration.
Ankur Salon which is a high-end salon in the heart of the city celebrated its 40th anniversary and as a surprise guest, the salon was visited by none other than the superstar of the millennium Mr. Amitabh Bachchan himself. The salon is owned by Smt. Saroj Sawant and Mr. Deepak Sawant who started it 40 years ago with a broken chair and a mirror and have turned it into a full-fledged 40 seater high-end salon. Mr. Deepak Sawant had been handling make up for Big B for more than four decades and in his footsteps, his brother Mr. Ashok Sawant is handling it for Mr. Abhishek Bachchan. His other younger brother Jitendra Sawant works with Tushar and they have been working with multiple Bollywood stars for decades.
Agency partner Meaningful Entertainment by Shalini Shrivastav and Nikunj Shekhar spoke to Mr. Deepak on this great occasion and here is what he has to say, "I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Bachchan Sahab coming for the occasion. I was in surprise and shock. He has given us the gift of a lifetime and our entire family would never forget this. We could have never asked anything more. We are very very thankful to Bachchan Sahab and the entire family. They have treated us like family and it's all because of them that we are here."
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Chhehre with Emraan Hashmi. He also has Jhund, Gulabo Sitabo and Brahmastra in his kitty.
