After Inshallah got shelved for various reasons which was supposed to star two of the biggest powerhouses of the cinematic world, Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan, the ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next featuring the Highway actress in the lead, titled Gangubai Kathiawadi. Now treating his fans and turning Santa for Alia, the filmmaker has announced the release date of this much-awaited movie today. Taking to the Instagram platform, SLB confirmed this first venture of his starring Alia Bhatt to release on September 11, 2020.
Is Alia already happy dancing? The filmmaker taking to the official Instagram handle of his production banner wrote, “Good things are on its way and you'll see in the new year✨ #GangubaiKathiawadi In Cinemas 11th Sept 2020! @aliaabhatt #SanjayLeelaBhansali @prerna_singh6” Alia too taking to her Instagram handle wrote, “Look what Santa gave me this year” In the picture, one can see Gangubai pasted on the window of Alia’s vanity van. This happens to be Alia’s dream project of her acting career and is eagerly looking forward to it. Going by the picture it’s confirmed of the film going on floors. While the actress has an exciting line up of work for the forthcoming year, the diva has remained very much in news for personal life as well. Besides Gangubai Kathiawadi, the Bhatt girl has Sadak 2, Brahmastra and RRR in the pipeline.
Going strong with the heartthrob of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor, the duo was seen grabbing all the limelight at the Kapoor’s Christmas lunch which is an annual event in the family.
