Ali Abbas Zafar Locks Himself In His Dehradun House, Wraps Up The Script Of Superhero Film With Katrina Kaif
Ali Abbas Zafar talked about Katrina Kaif’s next film which is said to be a superhero film. The filmmaker said he has locked a script for the actress and will go on the floors once the lockdown ends
Ali Abbas Zafar who has delivered hits like Sultan, Bharat, Tiger Zinda Hai and many more has found a new writing pad for himself and that is his home in Dehradun. He said that he cuts himself off from Mumbai to write peacefully here. The filmmaker left Mumbai and moved in with his parents in March before the nationwide lockdown was imposed on us. As Ali has ample amount of time to write, he revealed that is been writing quite a few scripts and that currently has excited us is that he has locked a script for Katrina Kaif’s superhero film.
While talking to Mumbai Mirror, he was quoted saying, “My next is a superhero film with Katrina. Recently, I locked that script and it will go on the floors once the lockdown ends. I have completed the first draft of another film as well, and hopefully, that script will be ready soon,” adding that once back in action, he will go on a recce for the Katrina film. “There’s a lot of prep required because of the kind of action involved and I am in touch with an international team over video calls. I’m also doing script readings with my actors and chatting with the production designer. There’s a lot happening,” Zafar further quipped to the portal. Well, this sounds interesting but you know what’s even more amusing is to see Katrina in a superhero movie, we wonder how that is going turn out to be.
Currently, Katrina Kaif will be seen in Sooryavanshi along with Akshay Kumar. Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the film also stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. However, due to the lockdown, the film has now been delayed ‘indefinitely.’
Meanwhile, Ali Abbas Zafar also revealed that his Dehradun house which he has built it from scratch has a sound mixing studio where he can edit the films and can do other post-production work in his house itself.
