Recently, Taapsee Pannu took to her Twitter account to talk about the insane electricity bill that she received this month. The Thapaad actress was in shock to see the bill amount of rupees thirty-six thousand. After her tweet, many more celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Renuka Sahana, Pulkit Samrat and others took to social media to complain about the same. Now, it is Jolly LLB 2 actress Huma Qureshi who has joined this list of celebrities who have received an exorbitant amount of bill.

Huma took to her Twitter account to reveal that her electricity bill for the current month has come to rupees fifty thousand whereas last month she had paid rupees six thousand. Her tweet reads, "What are these new electricity rates ?? @Adani_Elec_Mum Last month I paid 6k .. and this month 50 k ????!!! What is this new price surge ?? Kindly enlighten us." A lot of netizens have commented on her post saying that they are scared to check their own electricity bills after reading about the surge.

Huma's bill amount seems to have surpassed all, as Renuka Sahane has received a bill amount of Rs twenty-eight thousand. She took to Twitter and wrote, "Dear @Adani_Elec_Mum  I got a bill of Rs5510/= on the 9th of May  while in June I got a bill of Rs 29,700 combining May & June where you've charged me Rs 18080 for the month of May. How did Rs.5510/= become Rs.18080/=?"


Meanwhile, Dino Morea, Vir Das and Soumya Tandon too expressed concern over receiving triple the amount of electricity bills this month. Stay tuned for more updates.
