After Inshallah Gets Shelved, Alia Bhatt Ready To Shoot For SLB’s Gangubai?
Frequent visits of Alia Bhatt to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office led to speculations that her shelved project Inshallah with Salman Khan is again back on track. However, the recent mega award event IIFA clarified a lot of ifs and buts for the audience. While Salman Khan clearly stated of not working with Bhansali on any flick at the moment, Alia dropped hints of collaborating with the ace filmmaker for yet another film. Finally, as per reports in Bollywood Hungama, the actress is indeed doing another film with SLB.

Reportedly, Alia will star in SLB's movie based on life of Gangubai Kothewali. The movie will go on floors somewhere in the month of October. Hence, the actress will utilize the dates given for Inshallah for the same. Further stating in the report, the leading site has also mentioned about the flick being based on S Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mafia Queens Of Mumbai'. Though the release date is not yet confirmed, we shall wait for the filmmaker to make it official very soon.

The film happens to be the screen adaptation of Gangubai Kothewali's life seeing Alia in a pivotal role. She was known as the Madam of Kamathipura, place from Mumbai known for prostitution. She was tremendously famous resulting into dangerous gangsters being her clients.

Currently, the actress is doing the happy dance as her flick Gully Boy co-starring Ranveer Singh directed by Zoya Akhtar is India's official entry for Oscars 2020 in the 'Best Film In Foreign Language' category.
