For the first time ever, Sushant Singh Rajput’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande broke her silence and spoke about the actor’s mysterious death. Ever since the Kedarnath actor left for his abode on June 14, his family, fans and diehard fans are dying to know what exactly happened that made the actor take this drastic step. Likewise, his sisters often take to social media to write in details about their brother’s happy-go-lucky person. Last night, Ankita Lokhande, who has been in a relationship with the actor for 6 years, opened about SSR and the kind of person he was.

While speaking to Republic, Ankita said she wants everyone to know that Sushant has always been that kind of personality who used to find happiness in small things. She added he can be upset about something but as far as she knows SSR, he can never be depressed. Soon after SSR’s former girlfriend and Pavitra Rishta co-star rubbished the reports of him being labelled as ‘depressed’ and ‘bipolar’, his sister Shweta Singh Kriti took to social media to lend her support and tell SSR fans, ‘Satyameva Jayate’  (Truth Prevails.)

Sharing the link of Ankita’s interview link along with the picture of National Emblem, she wrote, “#SatyamevaJayate #IndiaForSushant.” We often see social media users taking to social media to ask for a CBI probe into his death and the real reason behind the death by making numerous hashtags trend.

While speaking about Sushant, Ankita said on National TV, “Jab yeh news aayi, it was written everywhere he committed suicide. It took time for me to accept it. Sushant wasn't that kind of guy who will be under depression or kisi cheez se upset hua and he takes this step. When we were together we have been through a tougher situation than this and we came out of it. Later when I started thinking about what happened that in 15mins his videos and pictures were leaked from his house and everyone started telling that it is a suicide, I knew he cannot be depressed.”

“I haven't known any guy who writes a diary. When we started dating he wrote what he wanted after 5 years and after 5 years trust me he got everything. He can not be depressed. We all have anxiety but he can not be depressed. He was called bipolar. Main danke ki chot pe bol skate hun he can't be depressed. He is an inspiration for many from where he came. It is sad that everyone says be was depressed, everyone thinks they know him and that hurts. He was a passionate man, he was a child, he wanted to do farming. He used to say if nothing happens then I will make a short film.
