Affair With Pulkit Samrat Lands Yami Gautam In Deep Trouble

Yami Gautam, who was last seen in Sarkar 3 (2017), has been away from the silver screen ever since. Now, she is all set to be back for Batti Gul Meter Chalu. But there is a catch, and it's scratching an old wound.
It so happened that T-Series' head honcho Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya Khosla Kumar and Yami Gautam had an altercation during the promotions of Sanam Re (2016). During a promotional event of Sanam Re, when asked about her affair with Pulkit Samrat, Yami had said that the news had come from the production team of the film, and she had no clue about it. Definitely this upset Divya as Yami was directly pointing at her team for leaking information.
After the film's release T-Series never offered Yami any other film, and it was because of this only that their next venture Junooniyat (2016) wasn't promoted that well.
Now that Yami has given her nod to co-producer Prernaa Arora for Batti Gul Meter Chalu, T-Series - who is also on board to produce the film - has demanded for an apology from Yami.
Prernaa and director Shree Narayan Singh had finalised Yami for the film, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. With T-Series demanding an apology, Prernaa is trying to bridge the differences between the two parties.
However, Yami is still adamant that she wasn't at fault. Yami strongly feels that she should not apologise.
Last heard, Prernaa is going ahead with her for the film.
