Colors TV show Bigg Boss has been a huge platform for people to achieve a lot of fame. Arshi Khan the queen of controversy has been making headlines for whatever she does. Arshi hit the headlines on Bigg Boss for the scandalous stuff she managed to pull off. Post that, February this year the actress announced that she is joining India National Congress and will be contesting for the party for the 2019 general elections. 6 months later, Arshi has now shared that she will be quitting politics for good.

The actress was in news for joining the National Congress party for the 2019 elections where she was supposed to be a representative and contest from Mumbai. Arshi has been among Google’s most searched entertainer list in 2017 for her appearances on the Bigg Boss show. The actress took to her Twitter today to share the news of her quitting from politics. Arshi’s tweet read, “Thank you Congress party for giving me the opportunity 
@bombaytimes@Spotboye@TheKhbri@tellymasala@indiaforums@timesofindia.” Arshi Khan shared a picture of the note to explain in brief about the reason for her exit from politics. 


Explaining the reason to leave politics, the actress mentioned about the increasing assignments in entertainment, which is making it impossible for her to continue her participation in active politics. Submitting her resignation on Twitter the actress thanked the Party for believing in her and giving her to the opportunity to serve the socially marginalized sections of the society. The actress also mentioned no particular reason apart from professional commitments that have led her to submit her resignation. The actress promises to support causes as a responsible citizen and also making an impact as an actress. Arshi in her post thanked everyone for their love and support.

During Bigg Boss 11, Arshi Khan made close friends with Vikas Gupta another co-contestant. After quitting acting, Arshi Khan turned a music video producer for a song.
