The film stars the veteran actor Akshaye Khanna as Baba Bhandari along with two debutants Priyaankk Sharma who is Padmini Kolhapure’s son and Riva Kishan. Sab Kushal Mangal is an out-and-out comedy film which will keep you hooked throughout the trailer. Speaking of Akshaye’s character as Baba Bhandari, he looks tough and strong but is very emotional from inside. The actor never fails to surprise us with his stint onscreen; he is a treat to watch in the trailer.

The last film where we saw Akshaye in a quirky role was in Hulchul and Hungama and we are more than delighted to see him returning in such kind of roles. While speaking of the debutants, the two do make a remarkable presence in the trailer. Watch the trailer below:

Akshaye Khanna talked about the film and the character and was quoted by Bollywood Hungama by saying, “I really liked the story and the character. Also, the fact that the comedy is never forced, it is situational.” Talking about Priyaankk’s debut, an elated mother Padmini told Mumbai Mirror, “I’m excited. The atmosphere at home has always been non-filmi, there was no pressure on Priyaank to become an actor or a filmmaker. The choice is his.”

Sab Kushal Mangal is directed by Karan Kashyap, who has assisted Shaad Ali on Bunty Aur Babli, Shimit Amin on Chak de! India and Mani Ratnam on Raavan. The situational comedy is being produced by Nitin Manmohan’s daughter, Prachi and the movie is mainly shot in Jharkhand. The film will hit the big screens on January 3, 2020.
