Panga-Street Dancer 3D Box-Office Prediction Day 1: Shraddha-Varun To Lead But Kangana Starrer Might Have A Longer Run
While you may take time and decide which one you would like to watch first this weekend, between Panga and Street Dancer 3D. Hence, we bring you the early box-office collection prediction of both Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer and Kangana Ranaut starrer as it hits the theatres in one day.
This Friday we will witness two movies clashing at the box-office. Kangana Rananut, Jassie Gill, Richa Chadha and Neena Gupta starrer Panga and Prabhudheva, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi starrer Street Dancer 3D. Panga, directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, is a film based on the story of national-level kabaddi played by Kangana who tries to achieve her dreams by making a comeback in Kabaddi post-pregnancy. On the other hand, after ABDC and ABCD 2, Prabhudheva is back to tell you yet another tale with his dance saga, Street Dancer 3D. Both the films’ trailers have been receiving rave appreciation. While you may still be in a dilemma which one to watch first, let us tell you which one would lead at the box-office on Day 1.
We got in touch with Film Business and Trade Analyst Girish Johar and asked him about the films’ early box-office prediction. According to him, Street Dancer 3D will make a collection of somewhere around Rs 15 crores. Since it’s a wide release the film may receive a strong word of mouth. Speaking about Panga, Johar estimated its collection and said it may have a comfortable start at the box-office for Panga. The Kangana Ranaut starrer may earn Rs 5 crore on Day 1 at BO as it’s going be a limited screen release and it’s word of mouth too will be critical. Speaking about Panga, Girish Johar said, “Panga is looking very cute and extremely lovable full-on emotions and very uplifting film. Whatever material we have of the film, it is uplifting for the women empowerment. Specifically, it tells the tale of women can have 2nd chance in career post marriage and kids.”
While about Street Dancer 3D he said, “We all know it’s a franchise film coming from ABCD team. Varun (Dhawan), Shraddha (Kapoor), Nora (Fatehi) and Prabhudheva have a huge fan following. The trailer the film was very well received by the audience.”
