Dabangg 3 Box-Office Collection Day 1: Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha Starrer Mints 24 Cr Despite CAA Protests
As Dabangg 3 hit theatres yesterday, the Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer is winning hearts. On Day 1 of the release, Dabangg 3 manages to collect Rs 24.5 crores at the Box-office. Reportedly a substantial sum was lost due to the ongoing CAA protests.
Salman Khan’s much-anticipated film Dabangg 3 finally hit theatres yesterday. As the makers of the film managed to keep fans entertained with interesting and peppy songs, Salman Khan also constantly shared updates about the film on social media. Directed by Prabhudeva, the Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer is winning hearts at the Box-office although the ongoing CAA protest in the country did dampen the business. On Day 1 of the release, Dabangg 3 manages to collect Rs 24. 5 crores at the Box-office.
Today, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram to share the Box-Office collections of Dabangg 3. Sharing the Box-Office collections, Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Dabangg3 hits ₹ 20 cr+ on Day 1 thanks largely to #SalmanKhan’s star power... Day 1 biz would’ve easily been much, much higher had it not been for the protests... Resultantly, biz kept fluctuating throughout the day... A substantial sum was lost due to this reason... #Dabangg3 Fri ₹ 24.5 cr. #India biz. Note: ALL VERSIONS.” On Day 1 of it’s release, the Salman Khan starrer has managed to collect a total of Rs 24.5 crores at the Box-Office. According to the report, the first day collections would have easily been much higher if the protests wouldn’t have taken place. The Box-office collections on Day 1 of Dabangg 3 are not as much as expected and a substantial sum was lost due to the countrywide ongoing CAA protests.
Dabangg 3 is a prequel to the 2012 film Dabangg 2 and the third installment of the Dabangg film series. The film stars Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Sudeep, Saiee Manjrekar, Arbaaz Khan in pivotal roles. Directed by Prabudeva, the film is written by Salman Khan and produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Productions.
