Vikrant Massey is all set with his next film, Chhapaak, starring Deepika Padukone as Laxmi Agarwal. As the film is set to release on Jan 10, we met with the talented actor for a tete-a-tete and the actor spoke quite candidly
Vikrant Massey is talent unlimited and the actor has proved the same with his superb character portrayal time and again. A decade of work in television and about 6-7 years in Bollywood, Vikrant is now ready to take his performance to the next level as he plays the lead in Deepika Padukone starter, Chhapaak.
The film releases this Friday and of course the rounds of promotions and media meets are in full swing. We too met with Vikrant, a couple of days back, for a candid chat and had a great time conversing with the humble actor.
Our tete-a-tete started with the topic of Vikrant finally getting recognition and due acknowledgement for his spectacular work. To which the actor had a witty reply, "I have always been credited late in life, for everything."
The conversation then wheeled towards how he bagged the role and Vikrant took us through the day he got a confirmation call from Meghna that he has been selected as Amol. Interestingly, Vikrant had failed the look test for the role, initially.
Vikrant, who prefers keeping his love life low key, revealed that he is set to marry his financee, Sheetal Thakur, in 2020. The actor also said how his ladylove deals with all the female attention he gets.
