Raghubir Yadav has again been in the news for his married life since last week, when his estranged wife Poornima went to Court demanding Rs 10 cr alimony and a maintenance of 1 lakh/month.
We got talking to Poornima who confirmed her demands. What followed further was a conversation that made me nearly fall off from my chair.
Can you tell us when things started going wrong in your marriage with Raghubir Yadav?
Well, first let me tell you where he is. Raghubir is living-in with Sanjay Mishra's wife Roshni Achreja. He himself has admitted in Court. They have a 14-year old son!
Things started going wrong after 7 years of our shaadi. He fell in love with some woman, when he was working in Raj Barot's serial.
Who was that woman?
Nandita Das.
What! And then?
Yeah, and imagine that show's crew started coaxing me to give him divorce. So obviously, I got to know.
Then, Raghu took Nandita to his parents in Jabalpur and filed for divorce. Apparently, he wanted to marry Nandita.
Why didn't he marry Nandita?
Nandita left him, she told him one day that she's fallen in love with someone else. Besides, many people had started telling Nandita that she should not settle down with Raghubir as it would be only messy.

No, I had no hopes. Moreover, I had only one thing in mind.

Roshni got pregnant and she told Sanjay that she wanted to divorce him. .

Yes, Raghubir was of no help. My son and I have lived in abject conditions. I started working here and there- as a teacher. My only aim was that my son should complete his education. Can't even tell you meri haalat uske baad kitni kharab thi, financially. But Raghu remained slippery.
The Court had directed him to pay 20K per month- but that wasn't enough.

Yes, my son has never complained about her. But all said and done, Raghubir has cracked my son's heart.
Now, on date, he is supposed to give me 40K per month--- but he is never on time.
Where do you stay now?
Yari Road, Versova. I have a blockage in my brain. My left side is a bit affected. But I can't come out and cry.
