The social media is flooded with pictures of people lighting diyas and candles lighting. Prior to the '9 Baje 9 Minute', appeal, PM had asked citizens people to clap and beat utensils for the people who are standing at the forefront of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Citizen across India stand united and light earthen lamps and candles following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 9 Baje 9 Minutes appeal. Bollywood celebrities including regional, politicians came forward and light diyas after turning off their lights for nine minutes on Sunday night.
Celebrities like Rituparna Sengupta, Darshana Banik, Koushani Mukherjee and many others came outside their balconies and light diyas.
