Srijit Mukherji's Vinci Da Starring Ritwick Chakarborty Will Now Be Made In Tamil
Srijit Mukherji has started shooting of his third thriller film titled as Dwitiyo Purush. The director has shared on the social media. The film stars Parambrata Chatterjee and Raima Sen in the lead roles. The film is slated to release next year
Srijit Mukherji has all the reasons to be happy as his film Vinci Da will be now be made in Tamil too. The news was reported by The Times of India. Tollywood’s popular director and two-time National Film Award winner, G Dhananjayan will be directing the film.
As reported he has confirmed and said, “Yes, we have bought the rights for the Bengali film, Vinci Da, from its production house in Bengal. We will not want to take it to the press just yet. We are still in the writing stage. So, we haven’t yet finalised the title of the film."
To add more Vinci Da has been selected as an official selection at the 19th Dhaka International Film Festival. The film stars Ritwick Chakraborty, Anirban Bhattacharya, Riddhi Sen, Gautam Moitra and Sohini Sarkar.

Vinci Da was released in 2019 and the story revolves around Vinci Da, an extremely talented make-up artist, struggling in his professional life, faces disasters because of his straight forwardness and arrogance; enters Adi Bose, a serial killer, changing Vinci Da's life forever.
Before Vinci Da, ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ has also reached to international platforms and had been screened at many film festivals. Srijit has also won national award for this movie.
