Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti To Re-release After Coronavirus Threat Is Over
Ritabhari Chakraborty and Soham Majumdar starrer Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti was released on March 6, 2020. The film directed Aritra Mukherjee has been winning the hearts of the audience. But now the film screening has been stopped as all the cinema halls have been closed in Kolkata.

And now the filmmakers have planned to re-release the film when the normalcy returns and Coronavirus outbreak is over. “Since the film stopped on a positive note so will there be a re-release of #BrahmaJanenGoponKommoti when things settle down or everything becomes normal? The amount of love & appreciation it received it should get back to theatres!” Windows Production tweeted.

The film questions all such discriminations. In the trailer, the lead actress is seen correcting the mantra being chanted by a priest at her own wedding. But this was not accepted by society just because she was women. The film makes one think about the old fashioned rites and rituals and even questions the gender imbalance in society. The film breaks many taboos of society and talks about equal rights for women in our society.
