Amid the ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus, many films releases and trailers have been postponed. Cinema halls and other public gathering places have been closed for safety reasons.

Director Indraadip Dasgupta’s Agantuk teaser has been receiving many appreciations from all corners. The film stars Abir Chatterjee and Sohini Sarkar in the lead role. The release of the film has also been delayed owing to the outbreak of Coronavirus. To keep the fans hooked up, the filmmakers have released character posters of the lead actors.

Sohini Sarkar will essay the role of Sovarani Basu and Abir Chatterjee as Nishit Basu. The film is a suspense thriller.
The teaser opens with the introduction of Sohini Sarkar as an old lady named Shobharani Basu. She lives alone in her home and her children are living abroad. There is a maid who takes care of her and Sarkar also trusts her a lot. Sohini also has a tenant living in her house and they are not happy because of Sarkar’s complaining nature. In the short video, a story is also running in the flashback which shows Abir Chatterjee as her husband. Sohini wants to live with her children but they are not interested. She is also blackmailed by a property seller who wants her home. But things turn upside down when one-day Sohini Sarkar was found dead inside the house.

Abir Chatterjee and Sohini Sarkar had shared screen space earlier too in the movie Byomkesh Gotro. Satyakam, a young boy comes to Byomkesh in Kolkata and introduces himself as a son of a business magnate from Mussourie. He confesses that he is a womaniser by nature. He invites Byomkesh to come to Mussoorie because he feels that his life is under threat. When Byomkesh reaches Mussoorie, finds that Satyakam was murdered mysteriously. Boymkesh starts an investigation which reveals a dark history of Satyakam's family.
